PAINTING

PINO is painted with BC Heat Set Paints. I always work for the best and natural result in my A/A, ethnic, albino and fantasy babies. My little wooden boy is delicatly reborned using mix media techniques and every details has been gand painted.

TEXTURE

The finish is a BC varnish protection. In the case of my Fantasy Baby Pine, I wanted a more powdered and marked look that would bring out the grainy look of the wood sections. I wasn’t looking for realistic cleanliness but rather texture that would turn up the volume to the wood effects I had hand painted.

PINO´S DECORATION

You can enjoy him, hug him, dress him but I recommend handle with care the fake wood details on the knee and the hand. I love to work with my hands and build every idea until it comes true.

EYEBROWS & HAIR: hand painted

FILLING:

Pino has been weighted with high-quality and non-toxic materials: polly pellet and premium silicone fiber fill. I only use high quality products to create my babies.

My babies are reborn at the seaside and they all are painted and photographed with natural light. Coloring wraps and props can project different nuances in the skin tone but this is the idea: to show my clients how my skin tone adapt to the different lighting and colors. Also, coloring and brightness can vary depending on the screen of your personal computer.

These photos have been taken in a variety of natural lighting conditions and different days (from sunny to cloudy) to show the changes in Pino´s skin tones and her volumes.
